BATH | Bath Village Police are searching for a suspect wanted in an armed robbery Sunday at Sugar Creek on West Morris Street.
The suspect entered the convenience store at approximately 8 p.m., grabbed the clerk by the neck and held the clerk at knifepoint as he stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register, police said.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 35 years old, 5 foot 10 inches tall, about 250 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and glasses.
He was wearing a red flannel jacket with a dark-colored baseball hat that appeared to have a large "M" on it.
Police said the suspect appeared to be developmentally disabled.
