  • Missing Hornellsville teen discovered in Manlius

  • A Manlius resident is facing charges after authorities discovered a missing Hornellsville teen at his residence, according to the Steuben County Sheriff's office.
    Frank Taylor, 48, of Manlius, was charged Monday with felony third-degree rape, deputies said.
    The search for the 17-year-old girl began Sunday morning after she was reported missing from her home. The investigation led authorities to Taylor's residence in Manlius, where the girl was discovered, deputies said.
    Taylor was sent to Onondaga County Correctional Facility at Jamesville on $15,000 cash and $30,000 bail.
    The investigation is continuing and more arrests are pending in Steuben County, deputies said.
    The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit, a State Police investigator from the Violent Crime Investigation Team in Canandaigua, the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office Abuse Persons Unit and the Manlius Police Dept. participated in the search.
    Manlius is located near Syracuse.
