Steuben County Sheriff Probation Violation Raymond E. Hann, 2nd, of Hornell, was arrested and charged with Felony Violation of Probation. The charge stems from Hann allegedly violating a condition of his sentence. False Written Statement James R. Graham, 56, of Jasper, was arrested for making a false written statement following an investigation into a complaint of an illegally obtained firearm. It is alleged that Graham falsely entered information on an application to purchase a firearm at a Steuben County firearms dealer. Graham is scheduled to appear in Bath Town Court at a later date. DWI Nicholas R. Hendee, 23, of Fremont, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a vehicle and traffic stop on County Route 70A in Hornellsville Township. Hendee was also charged with driving whit more than .08% blood alcohol content, using private property to avoid an intersection, failing to signal a turn and unlawful possession of marijuana. Hendee is scheduled to appear in Hornellsville Town Court at a later date. Warrant Chloe M. Maxim, 20, of Dansville, was arrested on Thursday afternoon on a warrant issued by Steuben County Probation. Maxim was arraigned in the Wayland Village Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail on $325.00 cash bail. Maxim is due to reappear at the Wayland Village Court at a later date. Speeding/Bench Warrant David Negron, 49, Howard, was charged with Speeding on County Route 14. During the stop the Deputy was advised that there was an active Bench Warrant issued by Hornell City Court on Negron for failing to pay a fine. Negron was taken into custody and turned over to Hornell City Police for his appearance in City Court. Probation Warrant Theodore T. Ostrander, 53, of Corning, was arrested on a Violation of Probation Warrant issued out of the City of Corning Court. Multiple Charges Richard O. Graham, 49, of Hornell, was charged with firstdegree promoting prison contraband and third degree criminal possession of a weapon.
