  • Village elections will be held throughout the area Tuesday, with polls open noon-9 p.m.
    Races include:
    • Bath: Mayor Bill von Hagn is running unopposed for re-election on both the Democratic and Republican tickets.
    There are also two open seats for trustees (two-year terms), with Republican incumbents Jeanne Glass and Michael McNally being challenged by Republican Michael Sweet and Democrat Ira J. Hale.
    • Addison: Republican trustees Scott Green and Patrick McClean are running unopposed for re-election for new two-year terms.
    • Hammondsport: There are two open trustee seats being sought by Democrats Anne Green and Barbara Keck and Republican Dave Luppino. The seats are for two-year terms.
    • Riverside: Incumbents Carol Ferratella (Republican) and Jordan Turner (Democrat) are running unopposed for re-election to new two-year terms.
    • Savona: There are two open trustee seats in the village, with incumbent Brian Scott seeking re-election on both the Republican and Democratic lines, Republican incumbent Christopher J. McCann seeking re-election, and challenger Democrat Jason R. Miller also on the ballot, all for two-year terms.
    • South Corning: Incumbent trustees James A. Thomas (Democrat) and Chester Tuttle (Republican) are running unopposed for re-election to new two-year terms.
