A Cameron man was seriously injured Tuesday evening when a vehicle struck the buggy he was driving, Bath State Police reported.
Titus A. Miller, 28, of 4650 McMaster Road, Cameron, was traveling southwest on County Route 123 at approximately 7:40 p.m. when his buggy was struck from behind, Sr. Inv. Curt Eaton said.
Miller was airlifted by LifeNet Helicopter to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa., where he is listed in stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle, Michael L. Whitenour, 71, of 2380 Five Corners Road, Jasper, was charged with driving while intoxicated and a traffic violation.
The investigation is continuing and more charges are possible, Eaton said.
Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker, Cameron Ambulance and Fire Department and the Jasper Fire Department also responded to the scene.
Whitenour will appear April 21 in Jasper Town Court.
