  • 'Battleground Earth' opens Sunday at Victory Highway

  • “Battleground Earth,” an Easter production by Victory Highway Wesleyan Church in Painted Post, opens Sunday.
    Performances are set for 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, as well as 7 p.m. on April 17 and 6 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. on April 18.
    A teaser from Victory Highway:
    “Through music, drama and dance, ‘Battleground Earth’ highlights some of the epic battles between God and Satan, good and evil, throughout the Bible and God’s plan to bring hope, healing and redemption to his creation.”
    The production features the Victory Worship Band and performing artists, members of the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes and a choir and cast of more than 80 members.
    Parental discretion is advised.
    Admission is free with the donation of some non-perishable food items which will be donated to local food pantries. A love offering will be received to cover expenses.
