  • John R. Faber, 28, of Wellsville, was sentenced Wednesday in Federal Court in Rochester to 40 months in prison on a meth-related conviction, according to a press release from U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul Jr.’s office.
Faber was convicted of conspiracy to manufacture and possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.
He was arrested after a raid on Jan. 26, 2012 at a South Main Street, Wellsville, residence uncovered items used to manufacture meth and a quantity of meth. Another search located a meth lab at a Madison Avenue residence in Wellsville.
Also arrested during the raid and convicted were Jason Patterson, April Patterson, Anthony Kidd and Justin McPherson. The Pattersons and Kidd are awaiting sentencing. McPherson was sentenced to 24 months in prison, Hochul said.
Faber must also pay $3,143 in restitution.
New York State Police, the Wellsville Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration were involved in the investigation.
