Quentin Tarantino has refiled his lawsuit against Gawker Media for leaking his script for The Hateful Eight, an unproduced ensemble western.

According to The Los Angeles Times, Tarantino now alleges Gawker directly infringed on his copyright by downloading the script in addition to his accusations of contributory copyright infringement by posting third-party download links on Defamer.

TV's biggest drunks

On April 22, U.S. District Court Judge John F. Walter dismissed Tarantino's first lawsuit, citing his inability to prove direct infringement. Tarantino added the direct infringement allegation and refiled the suit, in which he seeks more than $1 million in damages and a court order preventing Gawker from using the script.
