  • 2 charged in Horseheads prostitution investigation

  • An ongoing investigation into prostitution resulted in two arrests recently, Horseheads Village Police reported Sunday.
    Danielle J. Hedden, 27, of Toms River, N.J., was charged with prostitution and being a fugitive from justice.
    Raquan B. Washington, 24, of Endicott was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
    Both were sent to Chemung County Jail and will appear in Horseheads Village Court at a later date.
    The operation was conducted in cooperation with local motel owners and is ongoing, police said.
