  • Two Wellsboro residents arrived home Wednesday to find someone else apparently moving into their residence.
Mansfield-based Pennsylvania State Police say Gary E. Husted, 68, of Tioga, entered the residence at 690 Munson Road using a key he had access to because of a connection with the residents.
After entering, he allegedly began moving the residents’ property out and his own belongings inside.
Troopers said Timothy VanGorden, 28, and Harley Brown, 18, arrived home to find their belongings under a tarp outside the residence, as well as a car parked outside.
Hearing noise inside the residence, they entered to find Husted inside, police said, and refusing to leave.
Police said at one point he told the residents, “It’s time for you to leave.”
They then called Pennsylvania state police.
When they arrived, Husted was taken into custody.
He’s charged with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and theft.
