Car Q&A: Review of the Ford C-Max Hybrid

Print Comment

Readers have asked for new-car reviews, so here’s one: the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid. This is a big little car. Behind the wheel, the first thing I noticed is the viewing area out the large semi-flat glass windshield. At any angle there is clear vision and no blind spots, either side-to-side or rear view. Seating is firm, comfortable and you sit high in the seat. Driving the car is like driving a non-hybrid. The combination gas engine and electric motor make this four-cylinder/electric powered car into a functional multi-use (plenty of room in the back with rear seats folded down). As for gas mileage, my average was 42-plus mpg. All that mileage and a fun car to drive for a base price of $25,200.
