Inauguration weekend may be a time of mourning for a few, but for most, it’s a time for reflection and an opportunity for inspiration.
I’ve got a few thoughts here on Obama’s learning curve and the prospects for a second term. For those who don’t get surly when viewing pictures of the first family, I put together a gallery of photos taken in 2012 by official White House photographers here.
The big ceremony is Monday, of course, but since the Constitution requires the president be sworn in Jan. 20, Obama will actually take the oath today. All I can say is, if it happens during the AFC Championship Game, I won’t be watching.
