The Haverling High School Class of 2013 will present 42nd Street at 7 p.m. Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23 in the auditorium.
A bold musical set in 1933, 42nd Street celebrates the stuff that dreams are made of.
The show focuses on the efforts of famed dictatorial Great White Way director Julian Marsh to mount a successful stage production of a musical extravaganza at the height of the Great Depression.
The Haverling cast boasts many talented seniors including Mike Kellogg, Matt Baroody, Olivia Bradstreet, Madeline Flick, Drew Snavely, Dan Leonard, Mary Colomaio, Cody Sanford, Trent Buckley, Allison Warren and Darren Warriner in lead roles.
Supporting roles in the production include Julia Personius, Meredith Hillegus, Danielle Neu,Ashley Russell, Samantha Reed, Suraj Patel and Kyle Clark. The ensemble includes Amelia Flint, Angel Koehler, Brooke Davis, Sara Robards, Samantha Cupp, Brina Maloney, Jenna Towner, Leah Seager, Elizabeth Morris, Moriah Forsythe, Nikkole Rawleigh, Lydia Ferree and Raechel McCumber. Underclassmen Leif Allen, Nick Tostanoski, Jade Galligan, Luke Snavely and Christian Rossman round out the male chorus for the production.
The musical hits include We’re In The Money, Shuffle Off to Buffalo, Lullaby of Broadway and of course the title song, 42nd Street.
Ticket prices for the show are $10 for adults and $7 for senior citizens and students. Tickets can be purchased at the High School office from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
