Mrs. Gerhart is the former Delores Roosa. They were married at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Hornell on May 28, 1960. Their children are Jeff Gerhart and wife Patty of Asheville, NC, Kim Lawing and husband Bill of Harrisonburg, VA and Greg Gerhart and wife Trish, of Bath. They have two grandchildren, Michael and Taylor.
