Elizabeth Mattie (Libby) Wolcott and Justin DeChois Reed of Watertown, were united in marriage with a double ring ceremony September 3, 2011 at the Hornell Country Club the Reverend Bruce Smith of Watertown officiating. Soloist was Kathy Wolcott of Cohocton.
Elizabeth was given in marriage by her parents, Paul and Diane Wolcott. She wore a trumpet-style gown, fingertip veil. Her cluster bouquet was shades of pink gerbera daisies, hydrangea, roses, asters and green pompons. The groom wore a black tux with raspberry accents.
Maid of Honor was the sister of bride, Sarah Wolcott of Cohocton. She wore a raspberry knee-length strapless dress with cotton candy color sash. Sarah had a similar bouquet as the bride, the addition of orange roses.
Matron of Honor was the sister-in-law of the bride, Kathy Wolcott of Cohocton. Bridesmaids were friend of the bride, Caitlin Whitty of Elmira; cousin of the bride, Ellie Plante of Saranac; and cousin of bride, Kelsey Feinman of Cohocton, NY. The two flower girls were cousin of bride, Kayden Feinman of Cohocton, NY and cousin of groom, Hailey Reed of Cleveland, NY.
The Bridesmaids wore raspberry knee-length strapless dresses with cotton candy color sashes and same bouquets. The flower girls wore a floor-length white dress with a raspberry sash and carried a basket of pink roses, green button pompons and hydrangeas.
Best man was the brother of the groom, Andrew Reed of Watertown. Ushers were brother of the bride, Ben Wolcott of Cohocton; friend of the groom, Dan Schumacher of Naples; cousin of the bride, Chris Rounsville of Cohocton; and brother of the groom, Corey Reed of Adam’s Center. The Ringer bearer was cousin of the bride, Matthew Feinman of Cohocton.
Elizabeth is a graduate of Wayland Cohocton, class of 2005, and received a Bachelors degree from LeMoyne College in Syracuse.
Justin is the son of Dan and JoAnne Reed of Adams Center, NY. He is a graduate of South Jefferson Central, class of 2004, and received a Bachelors Degree from Morrisville State College.
A full sit-down dinner reception was held at the Hornell Country Club. A wedding trip to the Dominican Republic is planned.
