The couple have five children: Robert Jr. of Manaus, Brazil, Michael of Bath, Jane Harnad of Woodbridge, VA, Susan Strowger of Fairfax, VA and Thomas of Bath; thirteen grandchildren: Kyle, Nicole, Cameron, Emily, Zachary, Alec, Hayley, Amanda, Samantha, Lindsey, James, Garrett and Aidan.
