John and Kelly Thomas of County Route 12, Savona, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Kay Thomas of E. Third Street, Corning, to James Walter Austin Jr. also of E. Third Street, son of James and Linda Austin of Freeman St. Corning.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Campbell-Savona Central School. She is currently employed with Wendy's.
Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Corning-Painted Post West high School, and a 2006 graduate of Corning Community Collage with a degree in criminal justice. He is currently employed with Corning Inc.
An Oct. 9, 2010 wedding at the Ramada Inn in Painted Post is beinng planned by the couple.
