Harold (Bud) Brown and Jane Brown celebrate 50th wedding anniversary. Bud's parents were Henry and Winnie Brown and Jane's parents were Russell and Sophie Mack.
Bud and Jane met at Haverling High School and dated throughout their school years. They were married July 16, 1960 at the Centenary United Methodist Church.
Bud worked for Bath T.V. and Service Shop for 43 years under Leon Murphy., and later was a part owner when the buisness was sold to Time Warner in 2004.
Jane worked in retail sale jobs until going to Bath T.V. and Service Corp. After her retirement she worked part time as deputy town clerk, later going to work at the Bath Community Day Care at St. Mary's.
Now retired, they reside winters at their home in Tavares, FL coming home to Bath for the summer months. A surprise party in their honor was given by Dr. Michael and Barbara Hayes and sons Andrew and Charles of Selingsgrove PA and Ken and Chris Weil of Troy, MI in Florida this past winter.
