Coach: Wayne Carroll 24th year 134-71 (over-all)
Class B: Last year lost to the Geneva Panthers quarter finals sectionals
Returning Starters: Off. 5 Def. 5
Players to Watch:
TB/LB Nick Carroll (5'11”, 190, SR)
OT/DT Kyle Weaver (6'1”, 275, Jr.)
OT/OT Mike Conners (5'10”, 235, SR)
QB/DB Brian Gable (6', 170, SR)
TE/DE Tyler Hutcheson (5'11”, 195, SR)
SE/S Brett Partridge (5'6”, 135, SR)
QB/S Daniel Leonard (5'11”, 165 SO.)
Top new players:
SE/S Brady Santacroce (6'1” 165 SR)
OT/DT Tyler Hillman (6'0” 180 SR)
OT/OT Tyler Reeves (6'0” 230 JR)
RB/LB DeVante Staton (6'0” 180 SR)
Outlook: Very low numbers could be trouble for the Rams with only 25 members.
An early exit in the playoff last year was not what Bath expected. The leading Rusher is back for the Rams in Nick Carroll who had 1,180 yards and 20 Tds, 61 tackles.
Also back are Tyler Hutcheson and Brain Gable who had 35 tackles each. Hutcheson led the team with 11 sacks, Gable had the most interceptions with 3.
The Rams must get back to what they do best - tough defense and working opponents in the offseason, they have lost sight of that lately. The offensive line is inexperienced and untested, which makes coach Carroll very nervous since Bath has only lost eight games in the last year.
The first two games are going to be rough for the team, as they face Bishop Kearney in week I and Lvionia in week II, both sectional teams!
