Marcia Hall is the Executive Director of Pregnancy Resource Center of the Valleys, based in Bath. She has been associated with the chamber since the fall of 2009. Here are her reasons for getting involved with the chamber.
“Before moving to Bath I used to drive through this area and desire to see more of it and eventually live here. That was actually in the early 80’s; I lived in Buffalo and would travel through to visit family in New Jersey. My husband and I married in 1986 and I have lived throughout the Southern Tier ever since. With my husband employed at the VA we decided to move to Bath in 1998. We heard good things about the school district, their teachers and the education they gave to the students, along with their sports. Since then, there has been a subtle change in this quaint community. It reminds me of the Love Joy area of Buffalo when I was younger. Getting involved with the Chamber is the natural thing to do because I desire to see Bath revitalized. I desire to see more businesses and events happen that would draw people to visit this beautiful area. Together the Chamber can establish Bath, NY as one of the most-seen places in the Finger Lakes Region.”

Dan Shugars is the owner of the Island Brew Cafe on LIberty Street. He has been associated with the chamber for the past three years in several capacities, most recently helping with the website.

Other chamber board members include Ken Corey, Ron Smith and John Senka.
