Phillip E. Burrell

BATH - Phillip E. Burrell, 86, of the Taylor Health Center in Bath and formerly of Davis Street in Corning, died Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital.

A World War II veteran, he retired from Corning Inc. after 46 years with the company.

Survivors include three daughters, Onalee Brewer of Rochester, Donna Reynolds of Geneva, and Julie White of Middlebury Center, Pennsylvania; two sons, Phillip Burrell Jr. of Houston, Texas and Chris Burrell of Corning; and three sisters, Dorothy Seymour, Janet Christian, and Mildred Gill.

Calling hours were held from 1-3 p.m. Monday (October 2) at Phillips Funeral Home, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning.

Services were held at the conclusion of calling hours at 3 p.m. Monday (October 2) at Phillips Funeral Home.

Burial was held in Shumway Hill Cemetery in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania.
