Superintendent Christ Brown of HCS recently announced that the district has three main goals for this school year: continuing to increase student achievement; managing the building project; creating a fiscal plan that taxpayers can support. He mentioned to all staff that these goals are not unrealistic, but they can only be competed with the involvement and support of everyone. The same can be said for the community when we begin to deal with the program and staffing changes that will take place with the creation of our fiscal plane, says Brown. He invites everyone to attend forums that are offered related to the budget as well as any committees that will be formed at the end of this month to help the school's fiscal and education program. People's input as voting members of the community will be an essential part of a long term health of the school district, concludes the superintendent
