Donna Hults BATH - Mrs. Donna Hults, age 55, of Maine Street, Bath, passed away, Thursday, October 5, 2006 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, surrounded by her loving family and many friends. She was everyone's favorite lunch lady at Dana L. Lyon School for many years. Her last employment was at Emmies II until her illness. She was diagnosed with Lymphoma in 2005 and Aplastic Anemia in August 2006. She fought a courageous battle for four weeks at Arnot Ogden Hospital in Elmira and transferred to Strong Memorial Hospital September 2nd. Donna was known for her cooking and baking and hobbies; crossword puzzles, collecting recipes and cookbooks, and her "chicken" collection. She was a member of the Centenery United Methodist Church and active member of the Savona Rod and Gun Club. She is survived by her husband Donald Hults; two daughters, Nora and Rachel at home, her father Walter MacLennan of Winter Park, Florida, sister, Ann (Clarence) Hurst of Tavares, Florida, her twin brother, David (Kathy) MacLennan of Denver, Colorado special aunt, Helen (Honey) Howland of Mitchellesville, Bath, and other aunts, uncles, many cousins and every child that crossed her path, they were all her "kids". Friends and family were invited to call at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, on Sunday, October 8, 2006 from 12-2 p.m. Funeral services immediately followed at 2 p.m. with Reverend Jeffrey McDowell officiating. A Dinner was held following the funeral at the Savona Rod & Gun Club. Burial was held in Vale of Rest Cemetery, Avoca. In lieu of flowers, a benefit for Donna's family will be held on October 29th at the Savona Rod & Gun Club. |
