SCAP offers Giving Tree

BATH - Area residents can get in the holiday season by support the Giving Tree Project of Steuben Churchpeople Against Poverty.

The key is an evergreen tree located at SCAP's Bath headquarters and decorated with gift tags indicating the needs of SCAP clients and their children.

Residents are invited to stop by the tree and select a gift tag, then buying a wrapping a present and placing it under the Giving Tree.

All gifts need to arrive by Dec. 11 for distribution. Monetary gifts are also welcome, so SCAP can ensure everyone receive es a gift.

The tree will be erected at SCAP headquarters on Nov. 3 and is donated by Kim and Peter Cunningham of Prattsburgh.
