Anthony J. Depaulo

BATH - Anthony J. DePaulo of Bath went to be with the Lord on October 20, 2006, after a valiant battle with kidney disease.

He was born July 28, 1920 in Queens, to Nicholas and Carmela DiPaolo.

He was stationed at Los Alamos, New Mexico during WWII and worked independently in construction for over 40 years on Long Island before retiring to Upstate New York.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Jeane DePaulo and two daughters, Leigh (Joe) Rumsey and Linda (Joe) Hargraves both of Bath. He was a devoted grandfather to Tim and Katie Rumsey, Kelsey Mulford, and JoAnne

Hargraves all of Bath, and Regina Kamal of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his four sisters; Virginia Lopez and Carmela Kennedy of Florida, Mary Marcoux of Maryland, and Lorraine Erhardt of New York.

Calling hours were observed on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bond- Davis Funeral Home of Bath and Wednesday, October 25, 2006 from 10 a.m. to Noon at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church where a Funeral Service outside of Mass was held following calling hours at Noon. Deacon Ray Defendorf officiating. Burial was held at the Bath National Cemetery, with Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the Bath Volunteer Ambulance Corps. in his memory.
