Kuhl understands, assists locally When, in 1963, we started development of the Mossy Bank Park, the nonpolitical advisory committee established an informal policy with the Bath Village Board that we would furnish the expertise and raise capital for needed capital improvements if the village would affor the required care and maintenance. The village board agreed and our community set about funding with all kinds of leadership and individuals responding enthusiastically to this unique effort to raise money without burdening local taxpayers. Mossy Bank was our natural resource to utilize. The community liked our committee plans for outdoor picnicking, hiking, and natural science study. Our plans and hopes worked. Recently the Committee found more capital improvements needed and accomplished another fund drive for outside finance. This time our elected officials felt the pulse of the people when state Sen. Randy Kuhl and Assemblyman Jim Bacalles assisted with significant member item monies to suplement our local educational, environmental and recreational efforts. Such is only one of several examples of Randy Kuhl's local knowledge and years of political experience that finds our highly respected former congressman, Amo Houghton, supporting Randy in this contest.
