Good news: Massa not a politician

To the Editor,

After seeing our nation struggle for the past six years and listening to the broken promises, I have come to the conclusion that what this country needs is a higher volume of unemployed politicians and more members of Congress, Senate, and legislators who represent the people rather than themselves. While holding office as a state senator, Mr. Kuhl did a good job representing this area. As the senior member of the state senate, he was in a position to help us more. Yet he chose to move to a junior seat in Congress and start over. Now he claims that if he is to lose his position, valuable connections will be lost. Given the view of the political landscape, one can't help but feel many of those valuable connections won't be there either.

Eric Massa is not a politician. He is a concerned citizen who is well connected in Washington. He is a veteran concerned about other veterans. He is concerned with the depleted economy of this area. He is a conservative in his values and thought. He is worthy of our vote. I am voting for him not because he is a Democrat, nor because I don't like Mr. Kuhl. I do like Mr. Kuhl; he was very cordial and helpful as our state representative. I am voting for Eric because of who he is as a person. His ideas and values are what we need to move forward. Mr. Massa is aware that if he becomes a politician and looses touch with the people he represents, he can be replaced.
