Air Force Airman
Danielle L. Schimmel has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations.
In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Schimmel is the daughter of Diana Murat of Thomas Road, Bath, N.Y.
The airman is a 2004 graduate of Haverling Senior High School, Bath.
Air Force 2nd Lt.
Alexander B. White has arrived for duty at Tyndall Air Force Base, Panama City, Fla.
White is assigned to the 325th Air Control Squadron. He is the son of Michael G. and Theresa O. White of Reservoir Hill Road, Addison, N.Y.
The lieutenant graduated in 2002 from Elmira Notre Dame High School, Elmira, N.Y., and received a bachelor's degree in 2006 from Wilkes University, Wilkes- Barre, Pa.

Sean P. Watson has re-enlisted in the U.S. Army for three more years, after three and onehalf years of military service.
Watson, a service pistol shooter, is assigned to the Marksmanship Unit, Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
He is the son of Samuel P. and Barbara A. Watson of Cameron Place, Bath, N.Y.
The specialist is a 1989 graduate of Haverling Central Senior High School, Bath, and received a bachelor's degree in 1995 from the State University of New York College of Technology at Alfred. He earned a master's degree in the year 2000 from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
