Helen Lenora Decker CAMPBELL - Helen L. Decker, age 85, of South Hill Rd., died Friday, November 10, at her home. She was born January 4, 1921 in Marie, West Virginia, the daughter of the Rev. Robert and Irene Boggs Hall. She married Myron M. Decker on December 31, 1939 in Muncy, Pennsylvania. He predeceased her on February 18, 1999. She was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church i n Campbell, had co-owned Decker's Appliance Store in Corning from 1950-1957 with her husband and went on to own and operate Lenora's Beauty Salon in East Corning. Lenora loved gardening and oil painting especially known for her seascapes. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Jack Spaulding of Painted Post, Diana and Daryl Dates of Thurston; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Hall of Downing, California, David and Dorothy Hall of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Cynthia (Mark) Brandt, Elizabeth (John) Forenz, Daryl James 'DJ' Dates, Karen paulding, Kristen (Robert) Ross; fifteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends were invited to call at Carpenter's Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A Funeral Service followed at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Nalepa and the Rev. Ray Fritz officiating. Burial was held in Coopers Cemetery, Coopers Plains.
