Mary A. Stewart

BATH - Mary A. Stewart, age 68, of Bath, died Friday, November 10, at home. She was born in Millmont, Pennsylvania February 1, 1938 the daughter of David and Anna Swartz Gross. She attended grade school in Laurelton, Pennsylvania. She moved to Milton, Pennsylvania when she was ten, right outside the boro line on Shakesphere Ave. She attended Montandon school.

She worked at the Ct. Club for many years in Milton and at the "West Milton Diner" which is no longer there. She had worked at the Ira Davenport Hospital and also Founders Pavillion in Corning and Country Valley Home in Bath. Mary loved plants, playing cards, baking for the residents where she worked and especially her trips to Pennsylvania where she spent time with her only sister and brothers. When she stayed at her sisters they would talk and laugh back and forth from bedroom to bedroom until they fell asleep.

She is survived by two sons, Frelle Stewart of Bath and Scott Lose of Rawlings, Wyoming, her sister, Peggy Lynn (William) Linn of Milton, Pennsylvania; four brothers, Larry Swartz of Milton, Pennsylvania, Robert Hulsizer Jr. of Milton, Pennsylvania, C h a r l e s Hulsizer of New Columbia, Pennsylvania and Gary Lou Hulsizer of Milton, Pennsylvania her aunt Alice (Ted) Wittig of Bath, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Kenneth Hulsizer and Rick Hulsizer.

Friends called Tuesday, November 14 from 12-2 p.m. at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath, funeral services followed at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial was held in Grove Cemetery, Bath.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to the Finger Lakes Humane Society, 7315 State Rte 54, Bath, NY 14810.
