Gary L. Coots

BATH - Gary L. Coots, born June 18, 1961 in the town of Urbana unexpectedly died November 19. He was the beloved son of Jerry and Patricia Coots. He graduated from Haverling High School in 1981 and was Honorably discharged from the US Army. He had a career as an over the road, owner operator. In 2000 he was a member of the Long Haul top 10 club. Gary was an avid hunter, Dale Ernhart fan and story teller. He was passionate about horses and team penning.

He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Patricia Coots of Bath, son, Aaron L. Coots and grandson, Joeh C. Coots both of Cincinnati, Ohio, brother Jim (Michelle) Coots of Bath and nephew Trevor Coots of Bath, grandfather, Alfred Hayes of Bath, several aunts, uncles and cousins, his beloved driving partner, his dog Breeze; his horses, Misty and Tex and many friends.

Friends Services were held Wednesday, November 22 at 2 p.m. at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath, with Rev. Jeffrey McDowell officiating. Burial was held in the Howard Rural Cemetery.
