Bath Peace group to hold celebration

BATH - The Bath Peace and Justice Group will meet at 7 p.m., Dec. 6 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 122 Liberty St., Bath. The 22nd Annual Words and Songs for Peace will be held in the Great Hall. This year the organization will welcome back folk musician tom Michael Czarnecki, a celebrated poet and publisher, and eight-year-old violinist Jayne Pomplas. She will play classical music and also Irish fiddle tunes supported by her young brother Bram, who loves to dance.

Other area poets will also contribute. Refreshments served and donations to St. Thomas Church are welcome.
