Ada Myers Webster Guerin

WAYNE - Ada Myers Webster Guerin, 90, went home to be with her lord Friday, November 24 at the Taylor Health Center in Bath.

She was born May 12, 1916 in Wayne, the daughter of Gurdon and Blanche Myers Webster. She married Hylen Walter Guerin on October 31, 1937, her pre-deceased her in 1966.

Ada graduated from Hammondsport Schools and enjoyed nature, poetry, walking, attending church, visiting with family and friends and especially enjoyed all children.

Surviving are her daughters Nell (Robert) Tompkins of Bath, Bonnie Guerin of

Savanah, Ellie (Albert) Crouch of Campbell and Susie (Robert) Thomas of Campbell, daughters-in-law Darlene Guerin of Hammondsport, Marjorie Guerin of Bath and Dorothy Guerin of Hammondsport, 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by her sons Charles, Benjamin and Harley Guerin and sister Pauline Jacoby.

Friends called Monday, November 27 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at the LaMarche Funeral Home, 35 Main Street, Hammondsport where funeral services were held Tuesday, November 28 at 11 a.m. Pastor Daniel Druyor officiated and interment will be held in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery Hammondsport.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wayne and Sue Royce in care of the Assoc. of Baptist for World Evangelism, PO Box 8585, Harrisburg, PA 17105-8585.

Everyone was invited to a luncheon after the cemetery services, at the Harvest Baptist Church, Route 54 in Bath.
