Sexual misconduct Steuben County Sheriff 's deputies last week charged Charles J. Johnson, 16, of state Route 415 with two counts of sexual misconduct after an investigation into an incident occurring in the Village of Savona last month. Johnson was issued an appearance ticket for a later date in Savona village court. Assisting in the investigation were state police and the District Attorney's Office. Identify theft New York state police recently charged a Bath resident with several identify theft related crimes. Christine L. Tostanoski, 36, was charged with first-degree identify theft, second-degree forgery and 4th-degree grand larceny for allegedly obtaining personal information and checking account routing numbers from co-employees while working at Ira Davenport hospital. Tostanoski allegedly used the information to obtain a credit card and transfer funds between accounts from her computer. She was arraigned in Bath town court and released on her own recognizance, to reappear at a later date in court. Bath village police assisted in the investigation. No injuries An Oakville, Ont., truck driver suffered minor injuries when his rig overturned on Interstate 86 in the Town of Bath on Nov. 11 at about 5:03 p.m.
Fauzi Mahmood, 41, reportedly fell asleep at the wheel of his truck. The rig ws loaded with mangoes and was enroute to Toronto. The state Department of Ag and markets were to inspect the load. |
