Panthers cruise past Eagles

CAMPBELL - Without a single player scoring in doubledigits Tuesday, Nov. 28, Campbell-Savona cruised to its third win of the season by downing Alfred-Almond 65- 24.

The Panthers jumped out to a 21-6 lead after the first quarter and continued to dominate the rest of the way, never relinquishing the lead.

Tim Parker, Will Cornett and Zack Simpson each scored nine points for Campbell-Savona, while 10 players in all chipped in points.

Justin Cline's 11 points led the Eagles and was one of only three players to score for Alfred-Almond.

"We played really good team defense," s a id Campbell-Savona head coach Merlin Button. "We held them pretty much to single digits every quarter."
