Bath Neighborhood Watch hosting second holiday house decorating contest

BATH — The Bath Neighborhood Watch will be having their Second Annual Christmas Decorating Contest for all village residents. Hang those trees, and put up those lights, we will be coming around and judging whose house is showing the best Christmas spirit this season. There will be a First, Second, and Third place winner awarded in this contest. The judging will be from December 8th through December 22, 2006. This year’s judges will be Neighborhood Watch Captains, Sarah J. Stratton and Evie Lamb, Officer Stephen Hawken and Officer Colin Taft of the Bath PD, and village trustee’s Nancy Becker and Mike Skelly.

Separately, Bath neighborhood Watch will host its second Christmas Decorating

contest for village residents, with judging continuing through Dec. 22.

Villagers are invited to hang their trees and lights in anticipating of a vsit of Neighborhood Watch representatives. There will be a first, second and third-place winner recorgnized at the conclusion of the competition.

This year’s judges will be Neighborhood Watch Captains, Sarah J. Stratton and Evie Lamb, Officer Stephen Hawken and Officer Colin Taft of the Bath PD, and village trustee’s Nancy Becker and Mike Skelly.

Neighborhood Watch will holds its Christmas party from noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 10 in the banquet room of the Municipal Building on Liberty Street. All residents are invited and asked to bring a dish to pass.
