Susan F. Allen

HAMMONDSPORT — Susan F. Allen, 43, of Painted Post, formerly of Hammondsport passed away suddenly Sunday, Dec. 3 at her home.

She was born January 26, 1963 in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, the daughter of David L. and Barbara G. Paul Allen.

Susan was a 1981 graduate of Hammondsport Central School, where she excelled in Athletics. She was also a very talented artist, especially in pottery. She was employed in the housekeeping Dept. of the Hampton Inn in Painted Post.

Surviving are her mother Barbara G. (Dennis Kobbe) Allen of Bath, sisters Bonnie B. (Lee) Covell of Hammondsport, Barb J. (Bill) Fries of Bath, Bev L. Allen of Hammondsport and Donna Sue (Jeff) Kerrick of Hammondsport, brother David L. (Carmella) Allen of Dundee, step-brother Jody Kobbe of Elmira, uncle and aunt Dr. Hal and Joan Pryce of Hamilton Ontario, Canada and several nieces, nephews and many friends. She was pre-deceased by her father in 1997.

There will be no prior calling hours. A memorial service will take place Sunday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. at the LaMarche Funeral Home of Hammondsport. Rev. Sandra Curtis will officiate.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the Finger Lakes Humane Society, 7315 St. Route 54, Bath, N.Y. 14810.

Everyone is invited to the VFW, Route 54, Bath, after the service for a luncheon.
