Robert (Bud) Foster
December 8 at the Bath VAMC. He was born April 20, 1931 in Bradford, Pennsylvania. The son of David and Francis Booth Foster. He served in the Korean War, and was a member of the Hammondsport American Legion and the D.A.V. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Wanda Marvin Foster, son Bill (Janice) Foster of Penn Yan, daughters Bobbi (John) Crane of Pulteney, Rose (Barry) Kerrick of Benton Creek, Peggy (George) McIntyre of Pulteney, and Shirley (Bill) Miller of Rock Stream, sister Melissa (David) Hall of Wayne, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Marion Whitney Seltenmeyer and Ruby Foster Branche, brothers Dan Booth and James Blair. Friends called Sunday, December 10 from 2-4 p.m. at the LaMarche Funeral Home of Hammondsport where funeral and committal services took place Sunday, December 10 at 4 p.m. Rev Paul Rowley officiated and interment was held in Pleasant Valley Cemetery Hammmondsport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. After the service, everyone is invited to the Pulteney Fire House for a luncheon. |
