Michael V. Buffa

BATH — Michael V. Buffa, 15, of 5 Casey Lane, died Friday, December 8, 2006 at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital in the ER.

He was born April 8, 1991 in Brooklyn, to Marlene Buffa and Dennis Contreras.

He was a freshman at the Haverling Central School where he loved playing for

the Rams JV Football Team. “Buffa” received many awards in sports and loved school, his friends and life.

He is survived by his parents Marlene Buffa and Dennis Contreras of Bath, two brothers Thomas Gallagher and Dennis Contreras both of Bath, maternal grandparents Nathan and Sharon Buffa of Bath, paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Liaquat of Staten Island, and Dennis Contreras Sr. of Florida, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends called at the Seager Jones Funeral Home, 4 E. Washington St, Bath, Tuesday, December 12 from 2-4 p.m. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 12 at 6 p.m. at the Freedom Full Gospel Church of E. Steuben Street, Bath, the Rev. Gary Leonard, officiated.
