Possession of controlled substance Steuben County Sheriff’s deputies last week arrested two Bath residents on drug charges in conjunction with the county district attorney’s Drug Initiative. Aaron L. Peterson, 23, and Ashley N. Shoemaker, 18, both of 18 E. Steuben St., Apt. 2B, Bath, were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for allegedly selling crack cocaine to another individual. They were arraigned in Steuben county court and remanded to the county jail on $10,000 bail or a $20,000 property bond. Bench warrant Deputies last week arrested Joshua D. Folmar, 22, of Savona Campbell Road, on a bench warrant from Horseheads village court. Folmar was turned over to Horseheads police and will appear in court at a later date. Second-degree rape State police last week arrested Brian J. Northrop, 32, of 8401 Stone Road, Pulteney on a charge of second-degree rape. Northrop allegedly had sexual intercourse with a person who is less that 15 years old. He was arraigned in the Town of Pulteney and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or a $20,000 property bond. The district attorney’s office will review the case for possible additional charges. |
