Social Announcement

Stephen and Susan Bliss has announced the engagement of her daughter, Alisa Allyne Bliss to James Todd Laska.

Alisa Allyne Bliss of Georgetown, South Carolina, is the daughter of Stephen and Susan Bliss of Savona. She is a graduate of Campbell-Savona Central School, 2001 graduate of Eastern University with a BA in Youth Minstry and English, and a 2004 graduate of Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Theological Studies. Alisa is now employed as a Youth Minister at Duncan United Methodist Church i n Georgetown, South Carolina.

James Todd Laska of Georgetown, South Carolina is the son of Tom and Mary Laska of Washington, Missouri. He is a graduate of St. Francis Borgia High School, attended East Central College, and a 2003 graduate from IHM Health Studies Center with an Associates Degree in Paramedic Technology. James is now employed as a Lieutenant Fire/Medic for Georgetown County in Georgetown, South Carolina. He is also a member of Air Force Reserve Crash Fire Rescue of Charleston, South Carolina.

A wedding is planned for January 14, 2007 at Duncan United Methodist Church in Georgetown, South Carolina.
