Joan Marie Demonstoy Radcliff BATH — Joan Marie DeMonstoy Radcliff, 65, of State Route 226, Savona, died Monday, December 18, at the Steuben County Bath Infirmary. Joan was born October 9, 1941, in Corning the daughter of the late Walton and Grace (Ludwig) DeMonstoy. Joan and Dean Radcliff were married on October 5, 1963, in Coopers Plains. Joan graduated from the Arnot-Ogden School of Nursing and worked as a staff nurse there. She later graduated from Alfred University with a BS in Nursing. She was a teacher in the Health Occupation program at Steuben BOCES at the Coopers Career Center for thirty years. She was a member of the Coopers Plains United Methodist Church. Joan is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Dean Radcliff of Savona; sons, Michael Radcliff of Corning and Mitchell Radcliff of Rochester; sister, Joyce Anne (William) Tubbs of Painted Post; brothers, Herman (Winifred) DeMonstoy of Painted Post and Robert DeMonstoy of Campbell; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald DeMonstoy. The family received friends at the Acly-Stover Funeral Home, 327 E. Second St., Corning on Thursday, December 21 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services followed calling hours at 8 p.m. with Rev. David Wolcott Officiating. Interment was held in Coopers Cemetery, Coopers Plains.
