Mr. & Mrs. Chanley

Pam Schoonmaker has announced the double ring wedding ceremony of her daughter, formally Natalie Schoonmaker to John Chaney.

Natalie is the daughter of Ted and Pam Schoonmaker of Avoca. She is a 2001 graduate of Avoca Central School, 2003 graduate of SUNY Alfred, and is now continuing her education at Westwood College in EBusiness. Natalie is now employed by Westwood College as a Student Advisor.

John is the son of Charles (deceased) and Linda Chanley of Carthage. He is a 1999 graduate of Carthage Central School, and a 2004 graduate of Alfred University in Business Management. John is now employed at Hewlett Packard in Colorado Springs.

Natalie and John were married July 1, 2006 at Keuka College, Norton Chapel with Reverend Keith Terry, grandfather of the groom, officiating. Natalie was given in marriage by Theodore Schoonmaker, father of the bride.

The bride wore a bridal original of light cream tones, slim strap to a corset bodice and tailored saten waistband. A full skirt of delicate embrodiary and a chapel length train. Her bouquet was fresh lilies and ivy accented with baby roses.

Maid of honor was Samantha Schoonmaker, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid’s were Abbey Thomas of Greenfield Center and Heather Altman of Alfred Station, both friends of the couple. Maid of honor and bridesmaid’s wore a 3/4 length Alfred Angelo original of delicate lettuce green color and a fitted corset to a full skirt.

The groom wore a black tuxedo accented in lettuce green vest and tie.

Best man was Jeremy Chaney of Carthage, brother of groom. Usher’s were Jeremy Batt of Delevan, and Steven McClain of Pottville, both fraternity brothers. Best man and usher’s wore the same as the groom.

The couple’s formal reception was held at Day’s Inn in Bath with catering done by Robbin Brothers Catering. At a later date the couple will take a Caribbean cruise.
