Hammondsports Fall Sports Award Program was held on Nov. 9, 2006 in the Hammondsport Central School Auditorium. Athletes were honored for their participation in this past sport season. Certificates, letters, and pins were awarded to the athletes. Several athletes received special plaques for their outstanding effort throughout the season. The awards were as follows:

Cross country: Most improved girl runner, Emily Farmer; most improved boy runner, Damien Buck; most outstanding girl runner, Kelly Walling; most outstanding boy runner, Nike Foster.

Boys’ soccer: Most improved player, Anton Zyla; most outstanding player, Kane McAfee.

Girls’ soccer: Most dedicated JV player, Chloe Makarick; outstanding offensive player, Kalyn Fries; outstanding defensive player, Mary Allen.

Girls’ tennis: School record-undefeated doubles [11-0], Alexandra Putney and Kelsey Spinks; most improved player, Amber Wax; most valuable player, Hannah Shippee.

Volleyball: Most improved JV player, Stephanie Malone; most valuable player, Nicole Wright; most valuable player, Katherine Bagley.
