Rosemary Hoose Loucks

WAYNE — Mrs. Rosemary Hoose Loucks, 60, of Wayne died December 20 at the Guthrie Clinic from complications due to cancer. Rosemary H. Loucks was born on March 1, 1946 the daughter of the late Lewis and Lolita Hoose of Pulteney.

Mrs. Loucks is survived by her husband Gary Loucks of Wayne; two sons, David (Jeniffer) Loucks of Henrietta, and Thomas (Jennifer) Loucks of Uxbridge, Massachusetts, one daughter Marcy (Marty) Smith of Bath; five grandchildren, Kyle, Casey, Michael, Katelyn and Thomas, a sister Linda Day of Bath, and a brother, Curtis of Branchport.

Mrs. Loucks was a 1964 graduate of Hammondsport High School and salutatorian of her class. She was married August 8, 1964. She was an avid reader, animal lover, and enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends.

Services were held on Saturday, December 23 at Fagan’s Funeral Home in Bath. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mrs. Louck’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1316 College Avenue, Elmira, NY 14901 and the Finger Lakes Humane Society, 7315 Route 54, Bath, NY 14810.
