St. Thomas kicks off 2007 concerts St. Thomas' Concert Series recently announced the lineup for its second season. Four Sunday afternoon concerts have been planned for early 2007. Music lovers from around the region will have the opportunity to enjoy the finest in live concert music Sundays at 4 p.m. Each program will include hospitality in St. Thomas' Great Hall. The new season will begin on Jan. 21 with a concert of jazz with Duvid Smering and Friends. One of the Southern Tier's favorite jazz musicians, Duvid Smering, brings together an all-star combo of regional greats featuring jazz vocalist Cookie Coogan. This concert will feature a coffeehouse reception provided by Market Street Coffee and Tea in Corning. Admission is $15 for adults or $5 for children under age 16. The remaining concerts in the 2007 Series are: March 4, Ithaca College Choir will present a free concert April 15, Ithaca Brass May 6, Klenke Winds with harpist Elizebeth Munch.
