Anna M. Smolos

PULTENEY - Anna M. Smolos, 92 of the Taylor Health Center, formerly of

Pulteney passed away Thursday, December 28, 2006 at the Ira Davenport Hospital.

She was born July 14, 1914 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Frank and Josephine Wolsck Walczak. Her husband Anthony W. Smolos predeceased her on September 23, 1976.

Anna was a loving mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother. She was employed at Bully Hill Vineyards and was a member of St. James Episcopal Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Josephine (Mike) Kubrich of Campbell; sons, Stephen Smolos of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Anthony (Karen) Smolos of Hammondsport; grandchildren, Mike, Andrew (Holly), Brian (Christina), Kristin (Tim), Stephanie, Annette and Anthony; great-grandsons, Andrew Michael (Drew) Kubrich and Colin Christopher Kubrich; sistersin law, Helen (Keith) Baker and Adda Walczak and several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her brother, Walter Walczak and sister, Stella Smolos.

There will be no prior calling hours. Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 31 at 11:30 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church i n Hammondsport, Rev Sandra Curtis officiated and interment was held in Pleasant Va l l e y C e m e t e r y, Hammondsport. The family provided their own flowers. Memorials should be made to St. James Episcopal Church in her memory. After the committal services, everyone is invited to the home of Josie and Mike Kubrich, 5419 County Route 125, Campbell, for a luncheon.

Arrangements are by the LaMarche Funeral Home of Hammondsport.
