Rena Mae Wood

HAMMONDSPORT - Rena Mae Wood, 78, of the Taylor Health Center, formerly of Hammondsport, died Saturday, January 6 at the Taylor Health Center.

She was employed as a nurse, and worked in vineyards and several restaurants in the area.

Survivors include three daughters, Cindy Graham of Charleston, South Carolina, Rita Schultz of Brandenburg, Kentucky, Rebecca Reynolds of Alabama; a son, Robert Wood of Hammondsport; five brothers, Fred Wood, David Wood, Douglas Wood, Harlowe Wood and Daniel Stryker; four sisters, Jane Simons, Arlene Jackson, Sally Smith and Deanne Chapman.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 10 at LaMarche Funeral Home, 35 Main St., Hammondsport, the Rev. Paul Rowley officiating.

Burial will be in the Bath National Cemetery.
