Sexual abuse

Bath village police last week charged Troy L. Warner, 40, of Bath with first-degree sexual abuse, alleging Warner subjected a female resident of the village to unwanted sexual contact in December 2006.

Warner was arraigned in village court and is to reappear in court at a later date.

Controlled substance

Village police last week arrested Laurie M. Blankenship, 45, of 414 Manor Village Apartments, Bath, on one count of thirddegree criminal sale of a controlled substance and one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The arrest stems from a three-month investigation through the Steuben County Drug Enforcement Initiative Program into the sale of prescription narcotic drugs in the Village of Bath.

Blankenship was arraigned in county court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or a $20,000 property bond.

Controlled substance

Steuben County Sheriff's deputies last week arrested Wyatt C. Osmond, 23, of 6

East Ave., Avoca, on charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance. The arrest followed an investigation through the District Attorney's Drug Initiative Program.

Osmond was remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or a $20,000 property bond. He is to appear in county court at a later date.

Weapon possession

Alexis L. White, 21, of 48 1/2 West Steuben St., Bath was charged last week with fourth-degree criminal possession

of a weapon for allegedly carrying a pair of brass knuckles into the Steuben County Office Building.

She was issued an appearance ticket for a later date in village court and was turned over to Hornell city police in connection with a prior charge of issuing a bad check.

Probation violation

Sheriff's deputies last week arrested Nicholas R. Jack, 20, of Avoca for violation of probation. Jack was remanded to the county jail and is to appear in county court at a later date.
