Driving with ability impaired by drugs

Bath village police last week charged Sharon L. Kuhl, 40, with driving with ability impaired by drugs and inadequate headlights after a traffic stop in the village. She is to appear in Bath village court at a later date.

Charges pending

A Prattsburgh teenager was injured and is facing charges after he lost control of his vehicle on state Route 53 in the Town of Prattsburgh on Jan. 17.

Christopher A. Drake, 19, was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries after his vehicle crashed at about 3 a.m. Steuben County Sheriff's deputies say charges are pending and an investigation is continuing.

Fire departments from Naples, Atlanta and Prattsburgh assisted at the scene of the accident.

Warrants

Sheriff's deputies last week arrested two people at the county office building on unrelated warrants.

Phillip G. McIntosh, 45, of Erie Avenue, Atlanta, was taken into custody on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in Wayland town court on an earlier charge.

James Blankenship, 19, of county Route 70A, Bath, was arrested on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in Avoca town court on a charge of second-degree harassment. He was remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.

Unlawful surveillance

State police last week charged Gary W. Leonard, 40, of 7274 Spaulding Drive, Bath with second-degree unlawful surveillance.

Leonard allegedly watched through the window of an apartment in which a 16- year-old female had been dressing. He also is accused

of using the video function on his cell phone while the teenager dressed.

He was arraigned in Bath town court and released on his own recognizance, scheduled to reappear in Bath town court at a later date.
